At the SHARE Board meeting this weekend, my friend and Board Colleague Richard Buckle convinced me of the merits of blogs. So, I finally decided it was time to start! Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to sharing my thoughts on a variety of things. Much of what I talk about will be centered on mainframe computing.
I also will try and share other things. For example, when I travel, I'll try and post some pictures, recommend some places I stayed at, etc.
I was at the SHARE Board meeting this weekend, and tonight I flew to Las Vegas for the Brocade Conference. I am giving two presentations at the conference. The first is a short 1 hour presentation in ideas to improve FICON performance. The second is on ESCON to FICON migration planning.
